BAKING TIP
Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of sour cream to your birthday cake or cupcakes batter. This works with every boxed cake mix I’ve ever made. I hesitate to add too much sour cream to a cake baked from scratch because it may throw off the chemistry. My cakes are moist and the flavors are enhanced with sour cream.
INVITATIONS SET THE TONE OF A PARTY
Take extra care with your birthday invitations. They give the guests information about formality, dress, entertainment, food and drink. Be sure to include: WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, AND WHY. Sometimes (like a surprise party) include HOW in your invitation.
