On the Cheap Party Places

Finding low-cost locations for birthday parties can be tough, but with a little bit of fore-thought most locations are enjoyable. Some more traditional children’s parties are held at places like bowling alleys, laser tag facilities, or roller-skating rinks. These options are relatively cheap and charge by the child. Extras include food and drinks, which can be purchased afterward or had at home if it is too expensive on-site. In addition, these locations often will let individuals rent the equipment needed to play their games – bowling shoes or roller skate can be acquired as necessary.

Of course, places like public parks or beaches are great birthday party places. At a park be sure to get there early to stake out your claim. For entertainment try simple games like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey for younger children, or some sports like baseball for older kids. Going to the beach is super simple because kids can swim to their heart’s content. Just be sure that all adults act as lifeguards.  You can bring food for grilling or a picnic!

Up-Town Party Places

If you have a little bit more money then there are some pretty unique places for the idea children’s birthday party. There are many locations that can be exciting, fun, and educational! One such party place includes going to a museum. Paying for family admission, a possible meal in the museum cafe, and admission to special exhibits makes this a more expensive option, but it is sure to captivate the kids. Fun exhibits include Egyptian mummies, dinosaurs, or hands-on craft exhibits. Not only will the kids get to learn something new and fun, but they will enjoy the birthday party.

Another location idea includes an aquarium. These are always special for children and provide all the entertainment they need for the day. Simply have parents pay admission to the aquarium and then provide a cake or some sort of treat before or after running through the exhibits.
